Guest guest
Good Morning: I had surgery yesterday afternoon, lower jaw advancement and I can't believe how well I feel this morning. Alot of the swelling went down last night. Brusing is starting to set in. Didn't need to use the feeding tube. That was exciting!! I've gotta go to the doctor this morning so I'm gonna sign off and get myself there. Excited in Spokane! Guest guest
Wow! What an encouraging post! I think your experience is probably as atypical (on the good side) as was mine (also on the good side). But it's certainly a cause for celebration. I hope all continues to go smoothly for you. Guest guest
It's now Thursday, 2 days post op and I am doing just great. The swelling continues to diminish and the bruising is minimal. I am even thinking about returning to work on Monday! My throught and lower jaw are the only tender spots I have. I'm starting to feel some of the numbness now, it just feels like the last part of novacane wearing off. I thought the nerves would be dead. It's great to have a normal looking bite. I get these cluster migraines and I just knew that no pain could compare to those, meaning if I can put up w/magraines, this surgery should be a breeze. I'm eating well, no solid food of course. Trying not to eat to much ice cream. Wouldn't want to put on weight during this. Just thought I'd get back to you guys and let you know everything is going better than expected. I am so glad I did this!!!!!
