I'm sure your 10 yr old, will be in school durning the day But would be able to help to a point afterwards with your 2 yr old. I know at the time I had surgery my boys were/are 5 & 8.. they both go to school.. but at the time it was summer break.. So there wouldve been no way I could give the attention my 5 yr old needs at that point.. and my 8 yr old can only handle/entertain his little brother so much before he reaches his limits.. lol.. I dont know how much time off your husband would have off either.. so you might just want to play it by ear.. have a back up.. and see how you will feel.. Because I'm sure your little one is gonna want to play, etc with mommy.. and I'm sure being wired (if that becomes an option)..(I know I was exhausted from surgery itself, the pain meds, being banded and how tiring that got just doing the liquids.. let alone how worn out I felt once I got to mushy foods with my bands) will be tiring in itself.. But then again.. your little one might surprise you.. Best of Luck... -Elizabeta
