Sandi Yeah I agree Sandy I had my time of the month too the day I went in for surgery but unfortunately they did not put a blue pad under me during surgery and afterwards in my room I called the nurse in to help me check and it was not a nice surprise but she changed my bed and I cleaned myself up and all was right as rain afterwards. I had brought my own pads so I was a whole lot more comfortable using them and I had no cramps because of the medicine already in my body from surgery Lori Anne Lap RNY 8/25/03 274/258/
Guest guest
I was on my period when I went in for the surgery. Called to make sure it was ok and they said it was no problem. Just do not wear a tampon. They will give you the hospital feminine pad to use (little hard to keep in place with no undies) and they will put some of those blue pad things down on the bed to keep from being messy. It turned out to be less of a problem than I had thought it would be. Sandi Have a Question Has anyone been on their period when they had this surgery? I can hardly walk now with knee trouble from the weight. Thanks for the info. You guys are the greatest. Keep being the family we all need. I talked to one of the lab techs where I work and he says if the rest of the CBC is normal that it usually doesn't have any significance.
