Guest guest
Hi Andy, I'm really sorry to hear that you are having a rough go of it, I know how much we all anticipate a good result from this. It's a long haul only to find out you might have to go at it again, and especially rough when your professionals think it's all in your head (duh, it is!). No advice, other than go back to your surgeon/ortho and tell them that you disagree with their opinions, and don't think you should shoulder all of the cost if there needs to be further treatment. I'm not saying threaten them in any way (I am not a fan of litigation), but just let them know that the treatment isn't over, and you'll like them to consider that. I'd also consult the best TMJ person you can find. I have a friend who switched orthos, got the original surgeon to do a re-do for no extra fees (although the basic surgery is covered by provincial insurance here), so far, so good. > Hi Everyone, > > I had surgery June 24, 2003.
