Guest guest
Hi Andy, I'm sorry to see that you're still having so much trouble. Have you seen a TMJ specialist at all or had the joints evaluated with an MRI or CT scan? Those symptoms are not in your imagination. As you know, most people who have TMJ symptoms see improvement after surgery but a few (like us) can get worse. Have you seen a change in your bite at all? Within 4-5 months of my surgery, my bite began to relapse because of bone loss in the condyles. Fortunately my first surgeon promptly referred me to a TMJ specialist. Two surgeries later, my bite is finally getting restored. Hopefully your problems won't be as complex but I worry the longer you wait, the worse your situation will be. I do hope you get some relief soon. > Hi Everyone, > > I had surgery June 24, 2003. Needless to say the road wasn't as easy > as I had hoped, and it still really isn't.
