Maybe I'll gather my nerve and make another visit to the oral surgeon. Being no spring chicken himself, he might be wisely wary about a dissatisfied ex-patient! But yeah, I'm with you. I think I just got a poor roll of the dice, with side effects and with surgeons. How did you manage to get such winners--neurologist and OS? Guest guest
WEll, Ann, how did I get lucky? I dunno. (I do take my caretakers the occasional batch of cookies and the like, and I tried to bribe my surgeon to say that I wouldn't need the surgery with a most excellent bottle of champagne. Didn't work, though...) I agree, though, I've been sooo fortunate. I am careful about picking them, and try to get recommendations from people I really respect, either docs or patients. I also don't stick any time at all with ones I dislike. We had to fire one neurologist to get to this one. Docs these days can be too good to put up with mediocrity, I think. I'll share my neurologist's name, if you wanna venture over this way, but I doubt that anything this side of time and/or stem cells will fix it, honestly. I do have one friend who is trying acupuncture, but haven't heard any results reported. I do hope you find something marvelous to help! And I surely would make another appointment and ask, and not take any bunk about your age, unless you have osteoporosis or other age-related problems. (I'm lucky there, too. I'm off the good end of the charts on bone density.) Cammie > Hi Cammie, > How nice to hear your kind and reasonable voice again! > > Thanks for the practical suggestions.
