Now my insurance company said they'd cover it under my 1500 max a

year dental allotment so if I wait until Jan 01 they will cover it

but any cleanings, fillings after that will be out of pocket.

So do tell on!

Hi,

My insurance covered for the x-rays, consultations and a portion of

the jaw surgery. The genio part wasn't covered. The office wrote me

a letter indicating that I had functional problems with my jaw and the

insurance company didn't take issue with it.

Hey, good luck on Wednesday.

Hi Shiloh,

My insurance has allowances for 'regular' dental work and 'surgical'

dental work. So, a portion of the surgery (including xrays +

consultations) was covered by my policy and it didn't affect the

coverage on fillings, dental scaling, etc.
