Guest guest
, I just met with my nutritionist a couple days ago and she gave me some info on calcium. The pills can be cut, but for max absorption, it is better to use a different form. The wafers are okay, they are chewable, but they're pretty big, and you would have to take about 5-6 each day to meet your needs. I haven't tried them, but from the looks I bet they taste like Tums...kinda chalky. Her suggestion is Liquid form. You only have to take 1 tablespoon twice daily. Not bad. She said the taste is okay. Here's a link for more info, and ordering. I printed info from this page, and I am going to check my local healthfood store first to see if they carry it. She also told me not to take the calcium with my mult- vitamin, which contains iron, because calcium and iron compete for absorption. This particular brand we discussed is Lifetime, Calcium Magnesium Citrate. http://www.vitaminworld.com/scripts2/htmlos.exe/004099.3.398909298980 0031480? - in CA LAP RNY 07-17-03 324/263.25/130? > Hey all! > > Quick question....Does anyone have a problem with swallowing pills > now?
