Glenda, with all due respect I disagree with some things you said.

We don't all have a lot of time to wait for brochures and new foundations to

be set up. We are a group of very sick people who need to share our

experiences, symptoms, mediations, etc. If we do that as a group we may find

a common denominator.

I realize we all need support but we also need facts.

Diane has given me more information in the past couple weeks than I've ever

gotten. She is searching for a doctor for me in Wisconsin. She has spent

countless hours for this group and needs to be applauded, not put down. As

sick people we need to take charge of our lives and get the facts. We need to

get more assertive and aggressive in our treatment. We need to get damn mad

and demand something be done. Diane is on the right track....Sue

Well I have been contemplating on whether to reply to

this one or not. This sounds like a real mess and I

do not know what you are taking about being banned

etc. Has anyone asked you to leave the group?

Lets see where to start! I will probably be sorry I

have written anything because I always have a hard

time trying to get my point across. But I have ponder

this and I can't just sit here and ignore it!

Okay here goes. Diane I don't want you to take this

wrong and I want you to know I have no business in the

matter but I wanted to say something and we can post

what we like.

Diane you are a very outgoing type of person. You are

aggressive in everything that you do I am sure.

Sometimes you come across kind of scary. When I first

was introduced to you I was kind of leary of you.

Don't know how to take you at times but I think you

mean well. Just your personality.

Now that is out of the way. The foundation is new and

everyone is trying to do their best to get it off on

the right foot. It is like a little child it has to

take baby steps at first. You are the type of person

that wants to get things done right now and that is

not how the people or the foundation is working right

now. Angie and some of the others are ill and have

had illnesses in their families. They have RP too and

are having difficulties trying to get this off the

ground. I think that they want to do it right so are

being real careful not to do something that will

endanger the foundation. This could be the reason

that you are not getting the responses that you would

like. I am in charge of the Public Awareness and I

have been working on the brochure but it will do no

good to finish it until all the other stuff gets done

first. So we will all get it done but it seems to be

taking a little longer than expected because this is

all new to them and me and us! I think they/we get

frustrated because we want to get it done and then you

are there asking this or that and it just makes it

worse.

Gosh I hope I am making sense. You are just going to

have to back off until things get closer to being

done. Nothing can be done until the paperwork gets

done. What was it Judy said??? One day at a time.

)

important to all of us and to all of the others that

Well this makes sense to me. Diane, if you leave, I will have to kill you!

You don't want that on your conscience do you?

It's like I said, growing pains and egos - don't take it personally. In fact

we have a saying from Alanon that fits the situation: " Take what you like and

leave the rest! " . I hope this works for you, because I would truly hate to
