Guest guest
Hi everyone! I am excited to finally be able to participate on this list, thanks to Mimi. I am a phd candidate in medical anthropology @ University of Florida and a project director of several farmworker-focused efforts here in Florida. I was wondering if anyone had seen any newer data on insurance coverage (either public or private) as a proxy for health access for Latinos/Hispanics, especially Mexicans. I am interested in getting a handle on how different groups are - or are not - covered for basic health services but the data is not easy to find. I am also not specifically interested in farmworkers but rather Mexicans as a group. Any leads would be most appreciated!
