Guest guest Posted November 24, 2003 Report Share Posted November 24, 2003 I am currently 5 days post op...I have a splint in, and I'm wired shut. Is it normal for my lips to want to stay open? I have to force them to close, and it doesn't look normal when I look in the mirror... Will it always be like this or is it because of the splint and being wired shut?
