Guest guest
I think so. Hey, you have a major investment here. Your time, your money, your trust. Your discomfort. And if you have a problem developing there, for whatever the reason, it may be dealt with earlier, easier, than later. Call 'em. Who cares if they are bored with you, don't want to see you, whatever? You are entitled to their care, and they are entitled to hear from you that something may be wrong. If you go, they look, however they may need to do it, and they tell you there's no problem -- then give it a second think. But it is your mouth, and those are your nerves. I think the repair of these troubles is a partnership effort. Your docs are entitled to your best efforts to cooperate with their instructions, and you are entitled to their best efforts to give you the very best results. Don't settle, unless you're told there's no alternative. And then think for a while about it, before you do! You gonna hire somebody to fix your roof, and then not call for a repair when it leaks because the repairman gets " annoyed " with you? You think your ortho, or your surgeon, would? H***, No! You ask nicely for a repair, give someone some time, then start talking lawyers. (although I am always reluctant to do the latter -- apologies to any lawyers out there.) But I'll bet they weren't reluctant to get you in their offices. And I'll also bet they'll do better about finding a solution for you than you suspect at this moment. They aren't likely to be bad guys. They may just have office staffs who don't do the best job of making them accessible. I'd call the surgeon first... Cammie > I know I should call them. It's true though, that they seem like they > are annoyed with me. My orthodontist seems like he wants to get rid > of me now. I guess I should call them anyways, I just feel bad > because I don't like bothering that much. Would it be a big deal if I > didn't say anything about it and just deal with the discomfort??
