Guest guest
I had my first MLD treatment this afternoon (3 days post op) and it felt really good. I am able to breathe through my nose (which was not able to do), but now I feel more swollen. Could it be that I peaked swelling after my treatment? Or is it common to swell up after your first MLD? I feel like there is a lot of " crud " in my mouth now that is making it a little more difficult to breathe. What do I do? I tried to drink as much water as I could after the treatment. ack! Thanks, Britt
Guest guest
You could be right, swelling is probably peaking. The MLD therapy doesn't increase the swelling, it just opens things up so that your lymph system doesn't get stuck (think of a garden hose with running water, if you crimp the hose, nothing gets through - that's how it was described to me). It's possible that more treatment would help - I didn't just have one session, I had a few of them. After each session, I could see improvement. Keep drinking water, it's good for you! > I had my first MLD treatment this afternoon (3 days post op) and it > felt really good. Guest guest
Hey, Britt. I haven't had MLD, although I might sign up. But I wanted to say that I keep going up and down with my swelling. So it probably doesn't have to do with MLD, just fluctuations. Eileen > I had my first MLD treatment this afternoon (3 days post op) and it > felt really good.
