My teeth were not that messed up, most of my problems were the result of a really bad car accident that I had when I was 16... now 34. Guest guest Posted March 23, 2004 Report Share Posted March 23, 2004 I wore mine for 6-months before surgery. My teeth weren't my issue - it was my awful underbite - and protruding chin. I expect to have the braces off by summertime.
