upcoming surgery, feeling a little discouraged

Hello to everyone. This is my first post here. I went to see my

oral surgeon today to schedule my surgery and found out I still have

to wait 10 weeks. I am having upper & lower jaws done I was hoping to

have it done in January, now it looks like it will be around Feb 18,

2004. I have had my braces on for about 14 months and am ready to

move ahead to the next phase. I am scheduled to go back to ortho in

mid January and he is supposed to go ahead and put my surgical hooks

on and get me all ready. This means wearing the hooks for about a

month before surgery. Are they terribly uncomfortable? Im having

trouble being patient. Thanks for listening to me feeling a little

sorry for myself. haha
