hey i had that same thing done Dec. 9th. I was in the same boat. I

had a nice final dinner at about 930 and had some trouble sleeping.

had to be up at 715 to get to the hospital at 8. everything went

smooth for me man, just a lot of waiting around, which is nerve

racking but its all worth it. stayed in the hospital 2 nights, and

was up and moving on the second day, but wired shut w/ a splint.

just set back, read a book if you can or watch a movie tonight and

try not to worry about it. it goes fast.

Hey Josh!

Not sure if you'll get this in time, but hang in there. I also had

sleepless nights prior to surgery. Many report that the anticipation

is worse than the experience. Believe me when I tell you you will

feel utter relief when you wake from surgery. That and a feeling of

accomplishment and relief that you can now get on with the job of

healing. I know it's scary. I did it twice! Take comfort in that I

am a total chicken and if it were so horrible I never would have been

able to do the second surgery. It's not easy but it's do-able.

We're all here for you and good luck tomorrow (today?).

Now put on that brave face and run to the Other Side!
