Guest guest Posted October 9, 2002 Report Share Posted October 9, 2002 Cheryl, Maybe we should write in and have her do coverage on us??Or atleast CF awareness and being a mom is tough but add these diseases to it and the ones complaining will be thankful their kids are healthy. Oprah Did anyone happen to see Oprah yesterday? It was the show about mother's with new babies. I was so annoyed by the show. Here are these mothers with perfectly healthy children, whining ove rno sleep, blah, blah , blah. They should do a show and follow us with cameras while we deal with our children's health issues on top of all the other motherly duties. I only have the one child with cf and its so hard. I can't imagine 3 (referring to you Rosemary). I have never been angry at her show but this one really bothered me. Actually, we need to hit the whole talk-show gang because they do need tons of advance notice and encouragement and incentives. I know they get bombarded, but it is worth going after them as a group. Do you think you might be able to get a list going of talk show hosts and contacts? I'd be glad to furnish info to send them once this year's week is over. We are from all over the country so she would be getting letters from all over and if we sent in our letters the same week it would be hard for them to pass it by so if someone had the address posted it to us and we all wrote a letter and then emailed all of us to mail it at about the same time then she would receive them all at once and maybe not pass it up so easily...
