Hi Rodrigo,

How are things in Argentina? When the surgeon cuts the lower jawbone,

they cut it so that there is always bone contact as they slide the

jaw. The bones never do get " separated " . It's kind of

hard to explain

the cut so I have provided a web link that shows the cut.

My surgeon used screws to put me back together (rigid fixation) so;

my jaws were not wired shut, just a couple of elastics were used to

train my muscles for the new jaw location.
