Guest guest
, Friend, this stuff is all about patience. So you don't like blended. You don't want, don't enjoy blended. Time to rethink, friend. You need nutrition to heal. What the format is, really doesn't matter unless it undoes all the good things you've spent time and money doing for your mouth. But you do need some calories and some fluids to help you recover from the surgery. So stop, already, being picky. And look for things you can enjoy about liquids, rather than insisting on things you dislike about where you are. Ho-kay? Annoying? yep. big time. Frustrating? yep. big time. " fries and stuff " ??? Probably, depending on what the " stuff " might be. You can probably blend chili (or, for that matter, even pizza or refried beans and Spanish rice, with enough broth, to make them work). But not if you're gonna rule out the blender from the get-go. Fish also is usually easy, if it's broiled, or baked, or you can peel off the battered crust on fried bits. You'll get back to a steak and a baked potato, eventually; but for now, know that you can manage this and get the better of it, if you just don't slam your mind shut to the options you have.
