to that effect.

I personally do not care for Dr Phil whenever I watched him on the Oprah Show

he always seemed to give placating sayings to people who really needed help.

I don't find him funny or helpful. He just speaks common sense and anyone

who has an ounce of it on their own can deal with their own situations. I find

it funny that he is going to try to be the next weight loss guru because the

last time I looked at him he seemed like he should be practicing what he is

about to preach.

Just my loud mouth opinion from NYC :)

Hey

I don't know what America sees in this Dr Phil I would rather get an opinion

from a bum on the street than listen to any views about anything that man has

to say. We make people rich for nothing in this country .. Hey how about this

I've got plenty of groovy witticisms make me rich like Dr. Phil and Oprah LOL

at least I will represent our view on things LOL and can someone enlighten me

on exactly what type of doctor is this Phil person a psychologist or a

medical doctor or a foot doctor with wit LOL. Can someone please show me the

easy

way out too for that matter? :)

Lori Anne,

I agree with you. I¡Çve also heard him say that surgery is the

¡Æeasy

way out¡Ç and things like ¡Æthe only person who is at fault for the

way

things turn out in your life is yourself. If you¡Çre fat, it¡Çs your

own

fault¡Ç which I think is absolutely the WORST thing I¡Çve ever heard

anyone say.

I liked the dr. Phil show until he started bad mouthing the surgery

and saying that it's the easy way out and so on. I believe that

anyone who hasn't been in our shoes should not give advise.

Amen to that saying Walk in the shoes before speaking about anything

and cutting it down.

It was on at 8pm my time. I was not impressed by the show at all. He didn't

tell me anything I haven't heard before. And some of the stuff he said I

didn't agree with either.

Well, I didn't hear any references at all to wls on the show. And

his points were all basic common sense---i.e. exercise, keeping bad

food out of the house, etc. etc. He claims that something like 60%

of the people that follow his program are successful. But I'd like

to see them in 2 or 3 years---we all know it will be the same old

story---gain it back plus more.
