Im not sure but I thought Id reply anyway.

Im 20 and Im having my braces and op on the NHS. I cant see any

reason why you couldnt. Especially when its a mechanical problem like

an overbite, as opposed to something completely cosmetic.

I hope someone has a more specific answer for you!

Hi Kate

I am in the uk and had my surgery privately as i could not get t on

the NHS- but i believe up to a cerain age ( 25 I believe) you can get

it on the NHS ( though it could differ at5 different NHS's trusts)

Hi Kate

the NHS- but i believe up to a cerain age ( 25 I believe) you can get

it on the NHS ( though it could differ at5 different NHS's trusts)

Hi, I'm 30 years old and i got both my operation and braces free on

the NHS, (The NHS is not exactly free when we pay monthly national

insurance contributions from the moment we start to work!)

I was referred by my dentist to an orthodontic, who then referred me

for this surgery. Its not easy to get this operation, I had to wait

a long time (3 years) and the surgeon was not keen to operate,

although now he is so proud of his work!
