I was in hospital for just two days. originally

they informed me it would be for a week but everything went smoothly

so i was allowed out on the friday afternoon after goin in on the

wedneday morning. The doctor said i would feel ten times betta at

home and i did.

The doctor came and banded me the day after the surgery. I have to go

and see my ortho on thursday and he is going to remove these and put

on some ones which i will then be able to change which is quite scary.

all in all im doin ok. the swellin has started to go down and i have

stopped dribblin

You've reassured me somewhat! I'd agree, the idea of changing your

own bands does sound a little scary - let us know how you get on.

By the way do you have a splint - my ortho was trying to avoid it

but the surgeon says I will have one in for 2 weeks.

no fortunately i dont have a splint and there was no

mention of having it put in by my ortho or surgeon so i guess im

lucky.

do u know what surgeon ure having?
