Slow down girl.... you have time to relax and you had better start doing it or I'll bring some of MY pain killer to you.LOL I came home this morning at 5:30am from my sleep study. They had to raise the pressure on my cpap. Hope it makes me sleep better and will help take away the Mr fibro pain. I have to wait until next week to see the dr before they can adjust it. But I feel better this morning already. Maybe there is hope and I will sleep like a normal person again. Can I stll be part of this group if I'm normal????LOL I haven't been sick for 2 days from the Imuran!!! Yippee!!! Guess I'm adjusting. Will get a blood test next week and the up to 100mg. HOpe everyone has a great day today. Chat is at 11:30 am your time Heidi. I hope to be there. 9:30am pacific time. Rich goes to the Veterans today. That concerns me as I haven't seen him since he sent me to the rheumy over a year ago, and now this will be my second visit to him in one month. He changed my cholesterol medication to see if that would help. They said that the latest test was better but not normal so he still wants to see me. So, I see my rheumy, then the PCP on the 20th. We haven't had nearly enough rain this winter and to an Oregonian that is bad news. I love the rain and gray skies anyway. Just proves that I have lived here way too long! As to med for high cholesterol. I have used all the statins, but was on Pravachol when the liver function tests got messed up. The PCP started me on a drug called WelChol that is not absorbed by the blood stream so has no effect on the liver. It works in the gut! Other meds are azathioprine (Imuran), 150 mg per day, Arava, 20 mg every other day (this was reduced from 20 mg per day because it is so hard on the liver), and the old favorite, prednisone. Then the WelChol and two different prescriptions for my eyes, Patanol and Acular, plus artificial tears. I just went off my allergy medication and the water pill that I was on. As I am able to reduce the prednisone, the blood pressure comes back down so that I can stop the water pill. It is a complete balancing act. Have a wonderful evening and a great day tomorrow. One week it is 54 hrs per week and the next week is 40.5 hours. I cry a lot, I pray a lot, and I go to bed really, really early. Have to get up at 4:45 a.m. on the days that I have her. It is hard! She is 28 months old and the light of my life. One day she was hugging and kissing me and she said, " oh granny, I love you so much. You are my best heart!
