Guest guest
The mouth is a perfect place for yeast infections (candida) to grow, and no, you don't want them. Indeed, tell your surgeon what you told us, especially if you're seeing a white coating on your tongue (are you wired? I can't remember, sorry). There is some oral treatment for it, I believe, and that's one thing you don't need to put up with, particularly if you're doing the sweet Ensure/Boost, etc., diet. Yeast just loves sugar! It's the same thing babies get as thrush. Knock it out before it takes hold, believe me. Cleaning? I was ok with the waterpik, but ask your surgeon first. Used a baby toothbrush, gently. Ask your surgeon about that, too. You may need some special mouthwash. A.Y.S. Come to think about it, just A. Y. S. Cammie > I have kind of a yeast taste/smell going on in my mouth. Is this > common?
