Guest guest
A word of caution... Any exercises you start doing at this point should either come from or be cleared by someone in your surgeon's office. You don't want to rush things, honest. If the doc (or his representative) says it's fine, then you have the ok. But don't start a do-it-yourself program on this, or you may make trouble where there is none. Guest guest
Hi Eileen, I'm 3 weeks post-op today. I was wired for the first week and half and now I am just wearing my splint. I last saw my doc this past Thursday and I asked her if there were exercises that I should be doing. She laughed and said that I was way ahead of myself and that she didn't want me doing anything until she instructed me to. So, I don't think its a good idea to be pushing things without your docs okay. I totally agree with Cammie on this one! Guest guest
That's a good point Cammie. I'm always messing where I shouldn't anyway. He told me to open wide several times a day and not to use my hands or anything to stretch, so I'll keep it at that until he tells me otherwise. I go back in in 2 weeks, so I'll revisit this then. Eileen (who can't seem to just leave things be!) :-) > > Hello everyone. > > > > Can anyone share some " stretching exercises " that they do? Guest guest
I have a real tendency to rush things, and you're right--I don't want to mess anything up!
