Neither will she set of airport security devices, nor metal scanners, unless Messrs Bush, thorney and whoever come up with something a heckuva lot more sensitive than the present technology. I was in the room while a beloved one had an MRI, both before and after braces. There is a huge metal pin in the patient's shoulder... No problem-o. What may be a problem-o, though, is that you need to be certain that her growth is complete before they do this surgery. That's really, really important.
