Guest guest
Don't remember having heard this complaint before... Are you still swollen and sore from the surgery? In any case, ask your surgeon. That's always the best, and should be the first, resort when anything seems radically outta whack. Guest guest
, Just a question: did you suffer from any joint problems before the surgery? Do you feel any pain near your ear when you try to open wide? The reason I'm asking is because I had 3 wisdom teeth removed and now, after 2 weeks, I've been able to open my mouth sorta like I did before the removal. My joint on one side is weaker than the other, and I have no idea if it was perhaps the fact that my mouth was open for a long time or that it has something to do with the removal (stress on the lower jaw), but I couldn't open my mouth well for a while and it hurt really bad near my ear. Now it's getting better, but I'm also scheduled for a SARPE so I really want to know beforehand that this surgery won't mess up my already weak joint... I got the advice on the board to have an MRI done to see if the joint is ok, perhaps it would be good advice for you too? At least see your surgeon again and tell him about your problem...Good luck and don't think the worst immediately, it got better for me too!
