Guest guest Posted March 18, 2004 Report Share Posted March 18, 2004 Yes, I'm finally able to join the legions of folks who have confirmed dates for surgery. Mine will take place on December 3, 2004. Why so far away? Well, my ortho said I'd be ready by July, which turned into September, which turned into October. And since I'm getting it done at Kaiser, which many of you know is booked solid at least six months in advance, I was pushed into November. I elected to do it in December because it works out better for me work-wise. Things pretty much shut down around here the first of December (I work at a university) so I feel I'll be less missed. Oh, and most important, my mom was already planning to come out West for the holidays so she'll be around to aid in my recovery. So happy to have a date at last. That is all.
