Guest guest Posted March 18, 2004 Report Share Posted March 18, 2004 Hi all, first of all thanks so much to all those of u who replied to me about my " bad day " . its so nice to hear from people who acyually understand what u are going through. The last two days have been getting slowly better for me. I am managing to eat porridge so that is helping to settle the hunger pains. went to see my ortho today to change my elastics. from now on its down to me to change them which im quite worried about. he did it using a pair of fine scissor things which i have none. still can only try i guess. gotta go back in a fortnight. the swelling is still going down nicely and my bottom lip has returned to its normal size. the upper lip on the other hand looks as though i have done 10 rounds with mike tyson but its getting there. My boyfriend of 6 months is comin 2 c me for the first time since the surgery tomoroow. I am very very apprehensive bout seeing him due to the way i look. in the end though i just figured it he cant deal with it then its his problem. i have just had major surgery so tough if i dont look as nice as i did before. maybe i am betta off without him? anyway thanks again guys keep in touch stace Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
