Hello,

I have a question for those who have had a SARPE.

Did your upper and lower molars not fit together after the surgery?

And if so, how long post-surgery did it take for you to get your bite

back?

I had the surgery in July 2003 (eight months ago) and my bite is

still way off. My upper and lower molars are not even close.

I am wondering how long it will take to get everything to fit back

together again.

I had my SARPE about 5 weeks ago and my molars are also way off

(roughly a 2mm bite surface when biting down). From what I

understand they will not fit together properly until I have the lower

jaw advancement surgery a year from now.
