Guest guest
Well, Shiloh, here's where we part ways, my friend... =actually we don't lol. " This experience is a religious type for everyone. " =I meant 'religious' not in your " church " type of way but that your own spirit, strength, resolve, your attachment to food, your ability to talk etc. I guess I was making it relevant to what she had said, and I considered the surgery a real test of all my internal personal resources . I am no Christian either. I only ask that those who draw strength from religion respect those of us who find it elsewhere, as well. Please. =I was just trying to get her to use her faith to calm her nerves, and pointing out ways in which she could use this experience to rely on her faith. I have alot of christian friends and family member so if the rhetoric was pretty slik....its exposure I am sorry if I came off preachy, religious etc, which is pretty funny cause I am not religious and not christian in one small iota. You wanna talk about what Bach did for me in the recovery room? I'm good to go on that one. Kept me sane. Or at least as sane as I am today. =that is the point I was trying to make.
