Still waiting for new surgery date

I haven't posted since the beginning of January after my Dec 31st

surgery was postponed.

I'm still waiting for my new surgery date. I see my ortho today and

find out what he thinks about continuing with vertical orthodontics

to raise my left lower teeth. I'm starting to worry that my gums are

receeding on the left lower side and I don't see how my jaw will

raise up.

Has anyone else had vertical orthodontics? Is so, did it work?
