I had " vertical " orthodontics performed on my front 4 top teeth, to

lower them. I can tell you that yes, it does work and it works very

fast because your teeth do not have to move through as much bone as

they do when moving horizontal. My teeth moved down about 2mm in 4

days.

They do this by using elastics and or step-up or step-down arch

wires. I hope this helped to answer your question.
