Guest guest Posted January 27, 2004 Report Share Posted January 27, 2004 Hi GiJo; Don't know anything about bad breath, but my daughter stopped using the mouthwash doc gave her about 2 weeks post-op. She noticed her teeth were looking kind of dark so she has been brushing with one of those whitening toothpastes (there are alot of different ones) and also uses the water pic and adds a shot of ACT (anticavity fluoride rinse). This helps because at 4 weeks it still hard to get in and brush really well. The tooth paste did lighten up the teeth. Now she is back to regular tooth paste.
