Guest guest
Hi, Lucy here. I was reading the post about the sulfur and had to ask, what did I miss about sulfur drugs? I am allergic to sulfur drugs. I never thought much about it, but there could be something to do with how people with RP not being able to take it. I am interested if you have any information on this. Thank you. Love and Prayers, Lucy question on sulfur Didn't someone say a while back that RP patients shouldn't take sulfur products, does any one remember and do you know why? Everyone around here has been talking about MSM making them feel so much better. I was just wondering about trying it?? Guest guest
I'm allergic to Penicillin too, all sulfa drugs, Keflex and a lot of mycins. I can only take Cipro and Cleacin. Makes it easy to write a prescription for me - I'm just allergic to everything! Is there any common link between out allergies to certain meds and RP? Guest guest
, I think it is something someone (who??) should check into. I wonder if it related to autoimmune diseases in general or RP in particulaar. Or is is hereditary? My dad was allergic to sulfur drugs. I wonder how many of us are allergic to them and if this is common thread worth investigating. Feel better soon, there HAS to be something left you can try. Hang in there.
