Guest guest
Tammy, I had really bad neck pain - I couldn't even turn my head from side to side for years. Sad part about it is that I had no idea it was associated with my bite. I also suffered from chronic migraines...the longest lasting 7 days! I had upper and lower surgery almost 10 weeks ago and I'm really thankful to report that not only can I turn my head completely from side to side (sometimes I think I might turn it all the way to the back - LOL!) without any pain at all, but I've had not even one migraine at all!! YAY!!! Smooches question about results Hi. I am scheduled for upper & lower on Feb 18. (2 days before my birthday. fun, huh!?) I am really excited now that the count down has begun. One of the reasons for having this surgery for me, not only to align my jaws in the proper place, but hopefully to relieve some of my neck pain and headaches. Did anyone else have chronic neck pain due to the misaligment of their jaws? if so, after surgery, have your symptoms decreased? I am so tired of hurting all the time and am soooo ready for this to be over with!! Thank you!! Tammy
Guest guest
Smooches, I also never attributed my neck pain or headaches to my bite being off. I had been everywhere and gone down just about every type of doctor I could think of that might be able to diagnose what was causing this pain. I finally asked my dentist if he thought it could be related to a misaligned bite and he is finally the one that said, you know, you might be on to something. Im just ready to have this part of this saga over with. thanks for your reply. Im hoping and praying that I experience some relief also. Guest guest
> Hey Tammy, I just had surgery almost 3 weeks ago. I suffered from headaches and neck pains. I am glad I had the surgery, but I have had minor headaches, and neck pains, but I am not sure if it is because I am not sleeping well. I think it is too early for me to know what the final results with be. Good luck to you, and it will be over before you know it.
