Guest guest
That's a tough situation. Only suggestion I can make is for you to quit yourself, no sense in adding to the injury yourself. Then perhaps you can voice your concerns to your parents " I'm trying to quit and it would be helpful if you didn't smoke around me " or " I don't really have a choice about breathing or not " , maybe leave the room if they are smoking, or open a window for ventilation. You've probably only got a few more years at home anyway. Smoking is becoming a habit of a minority of our society, thankfully. It's nice to be able to go into a public place and be able to sit anywhere smoke-free. Hopefully it's coming soon to a city or town near you. Our city went smoke-free last June, all the neighbouring communities did so a year before that, so it's catching on. > > > I'm having a hard time quitting cold turkey because i'm > constantly > > > thinking about the surgery and it's making me have one after the > > > other.
