Guest guest
when it comes to thyroid I've been run through the mill several times and barely come out alive. I can tell you that you do not want to take Armour thyroid because it does not break down and you will get nothing from it. I did the spit and water and vinegar and water tests on a pill and it sat whole for over 6hr. and never broke down. I know in my stomach its not breaking down and being absorbed at all. with synthroid and the generics - they are T4 and your body converts part of it to T3. just that some us are not very good at converting! if you add Cytomel to the synthroid you will have a complete T3 and 4 product. If your TSH is dropping it means your dose is too high. it is the only lab test that is backwards so to speak. but the TSH alone, although most docs live by it as the best test - it is not. you need a full thyroid panel when you are having symptoms. good luck Sue > > > Hi Everyone, > > > Well, I finally decided to find a different doctor who would run > > > additional thyroid testing for me.
