When you are the autoimmune surpressant it is alot different than a normal flare. They are usually pretty tolerable. I have had this RP for a few years so it is nothing new! I have only had one major flare (lasted almost 3 months) and went on the Metho right away, so I am hoping thatis all I ever have. Not counting on it, just hoping. Glad you are OK. That is why we need to follow what our Dr. tells us. There are so many different meds. and dosages that we need to follow what is good for us. I am sorry you are getting confused. I take a baby asprin every day. I also take Imuran which is a blood thinner. The ammount of the baby asprin so small it doesn't hurt me to take it! Ask your Dr. if you have questions. I also take a multi-vitamin and calcuim due to the meds do not allow my body to absorb or make enough on it's own. I hope this helps you and doesn't confuse you more!
