Hi Kirstin,

I had my surgery Dec. 10 and today, Dec. 16 I saw my OS, but that

was an emergency visit. Normally, I would've seen him for the first

time post surgery 2 weeks later. I'll see him again next week, and

probably the weeks after that. Hope that helps.

I have to go in every week for a visit (sometimes he lets me skip 1

week, but won't let me go longer than 2). He said last week after I

wondered about why so many visits is that he is keeping a close eye

on my bite - wants to do everything he can to prevent a relapse.

After I get my expander maintainer in then I think it will be every

other week until it comes out (at 6 months or so) or until it has

been a full year. It is a little annoying because it takes me like

an hour and a half to two to get there, but at the same time very

comforting because I know that he does really care about the " after "

result. I am almost at 12 weeks.
