I do get full and if I take one bite to many it will come back up. Yes yukky I know but true. After the first week I slowed down to losing nothing but yesterday i weighed and lost another five bringing it down to 21 pounds lost and this morning, if the scale aint lying I lost another pound or two. So just follow your diet and do like your suppose to and try not to do like me and get into an all out brawl with your scales because you arent losing like you think you should, lol. Guest guest
Got home yesterday afternoon, but spend most of the day in bed. The pain was pretty bad for me. But each day is getting better. They had me on morphine in the hospital until I talked to the doctor and explained I couldn't think straight let alone try to walk. So changed me to oxycodone. I have been better since that. No major problems thus far except that my drain started to leak a bit after I got home last night. I talked to the doctor and he said it does happen to some poeple and as long as I have no fever I should be fine. Full liquid is going down fine so far. However I don't ever feel hungry or full. Has anyone experienced that? Candi

Has anyone experienced that? Hi Candi I have not been hungry since 8/24/03 the day before my surgery. I get cravings for some things but I have not been hungry at all since my surgery on 8/25/03. I eat by the clock and drink all day long in between meals. I know my exact point of being satisfied so I have not over done it yet to make anything come back up Personally I don't like the feeling of fullness I like to eat by the exact measurement like 2 ounces by a measuring cup and I know that I have enough food in my tummy to sustain me and I did not have to feel " full " to get there. My doctor told me to get in those protein shakes so I use the chocolate and french vanilla designer whey powders. The chocolate one really takes like nestle's quick when it is mixed with really cold 2 percent milk (I am not lactose intolerant) and shaken up. Well good luck and keep the faith Lori Anne Lap RNY 8/25/03 274/259/

Guest guest
I totally agree I am not looking to " Feel " ful at all. I am just concerned that since I have not noticed it that I may be getting full and not realizing it, Does that make sense? Candi Re: Well I am home from Hospital!! Guest guest
Yeah Candi it makes sense but when you get there full I mean there is just no way for you to Not know it. First of all the food only has a little way to go and then you can start feeling it in your throat and then you know yikes I over did it LOL.
