Guest guest
Dear Diane: Doesn't sound very encouraging for your father-in-law. The first thing that comes to mind for me is: What does he think of all this? Has he discussed with anyone what he wants to happen? If he has, it is important to honor his wishes, if at all possible. You didn't say whether or not he is still able to communicate. Is he at peace realizing that his life may end soon? Have his spiritual needs been taken care of? I'm raising questions rather than answering yours. Considering his age, and his physical condition, my sense is that these questions must be looked at first before one can answer those regarding his continuing care. Would be happy to discuss it more if you wish... I've been there. Grace Father in Law > Dear All: > Hello, thanks for the opportunity to share and ask ????????.
