I am 13 days pre-op and a bit nervous as I have never had any type of surgery before. The doctors I will be using I know are great, I am just ready to be on the other side so to speak. Guest guest Posted August 15, 2003 Report Share Posted August 15, 2003 Have you had children before? They are so good with giving you plenty of pain med. You will be fine and if you are feeling uncomfortable, ask for more meds. The body healths better if it is not dealing with pain also. I was more nervous about " after " than the actual surgery. I am only 2 weeks post-op and I am feeling pretty good. I have not had any real nausea to speak of. Milk is working fine for me too. Please feel free to ask any specific questions you may be worried about. Nothing is too personal to ask here. We are here to make each other comfortable and more prepared for your journey.
