Joanie,

I used Mederma for a while, but it didn't really work for me. I have

used vitamin E, but my skin is extremely fair, and still red. My Mom

says for me this is genetic as my grandmother was a fair skinned red

head.

Anyway, I did try this: Take your vitamin E oil and rub it on your

scar(s). Put a piece of plastic wrap onto of the scar. Then put a

moist warm towl on top of that, lastly a heating pad on low/medium

heat. Do this for 15-20 minutes twice a day. This should help with

redness or a raised scar.

BTW how strong is your vitamin E oil? Mine is 30,000 IU.
