Hi

Please do try to come you wouldn't want to break my little heart :o)

I am so looking forward to meeting you and all who can come and I promise we

will all have a great time. I know Disney like the back of my hand and I can

really show us all a good time and you won't need a lot of money to spend once

you are there. Getting there with paying off the room, getting tickets and

flights is the most money. I will be posting prices of items in the food court

to help in budgeting for meals. I will also be posting souvenir prices and

things like that so you can know before you go LOL. I really love planning

trips and I am currently planning my 02/05 wedding and having a ball doing it

and

then I have my surgery on 8/25/03 so my plate is pretty full right now LOL (

oh I crack myself up :) So keep in touch and if you need any questions

answered I am only an email or phone call away.

Mon - Fri call me anytime from 10 am to 5 pm at ok ask for me

Hi

Let's do the math here girl LOL

The room will cost you all $517.44 and you will have two double beds in the

room so there is plenty of sleeping space, plus you can have pillow fights

galore with the kids LOL. My daughter and I have always gone on vacations and

we

always start if off with a pillow fight LOL. Next year will be our first

vacation with my new fiance and his two children. My is 14 and

my

fiance has two children Shana 14 and CJ 12 so they will be sharing

their own room and and I will have our own room.

You guys will be saving a lot of money by driving and if you want I will help

you guys map out your route by car :) LOL I always fall off the subject I am

so excited about it all LOL back to the numbers :)

Room Cost = $517.14

Park tickets = 2 adult 5 day passes =$434.04 and two children tickets if they

between the ages of 3-9 years old will be $171.81 each for a cost of $343.62

All together the room and the tickets will be $1294.80

Girl trust me my daughter and I have been to Disney more than 5 times already

and these are truly the best prices we have ever been offered. I am so happy

that I could obtain these rates for us.

Now let's plan to feed you guys lol the food court at the All Star Movies

Resort really has some reasonable prices and a vast selection of hot foods and

snacks and everything even healthy food choices lol. I saved my receipts from

2002 and will try to factor in increases but usually it will break down this

way:

a child's pancake platter cost $3.59 each

an adult pancake platter cost $4.99 each

trust me these platters are all you need to start off the day but of course

you and I will partake of other breakfast foods and the prices are really

reasonable

Now at the food court for lunch or dinner

A chicken strip platter or fried chicken cost 4.89 each and they came with

fries.

Now to save money you can purchase the Disney insulated cup for about 7.99

each or do what jessy and I did we purchased our mugs at downtown Disney's rain

forest cafe for 2 for $5.00 and used our mugs to refill our drinks at the food

court. This really does save a lot of money on drinks and in the mugs you

can have cold or hot drinks.

Now in the parks be prepared to pay anywhere from $6.00 per person per meal

or you can do what we do pay a little extra and have a little fridge in your

room and go to the store and stock up. You can bring your own 2 liter bottle of

soda into the park in your bag and just get cups of ice in the park to save

money, and pack your own snacks for the family and just have money for

ice-cream and stuff like that for the kids or if you want to buy souvenirs.

I really want us to enjoy ourselves so really plan on at least $300.00 TO

$400.00 or less for all meals and a dinner theater trip. I really want to get a

day in at Universal studios and a park ticket there will run you 51.95 per one

day ticket but this is optional.

I think if you guys aim toward the $2,500 you suggested you will be doing

fantastic. So let's start saving because I will be signing the contract soon

and

keep checking the files section at the GBS website and the blog that I

created and sent you guys out the links for ok.

WE WILL HAVE A GREAT TIME and I don't know about you guys but bring a camera

and or a camcorder this will be an adventure of a lifetime :)

Lori Anne,

You are such a riot. My husband and I have been talking about this and

we're seriously going to try to save the money to go. We're poor people

but this would be like a dream come true for us. We just got married

three years ago (this is my second) and I have two kids and we've NEVER

been on vacation together. I think it would be so cool to visit Disney

World at night and especially when I will be able to ride the rides!

If (when!!!) we go, we'll probably drive because we live in Texas and it

wouldn't be that big of a deal for us. With both driving, we'll probably

get there in two days which would save a lot. We figure for the 1 room

and the park passes, meals etc. It will probably run us about $2500. Do

you think this is a good estimate?

I hope more people sign up! I am really looking forward to this!

Thanks so much for the info Lori Anne! I can't believe this can actually

be a reality for us! There is one little thing though, my kids will be

11 and 13 by the time next Christmas rolls around so they will not be

partaking of the child prices or menus unfortunately. I think $2500 is

very reasonable and I'm going to save like crazy for the next 15 months.

and these are truly the best prices we have ever been offered. I am so

happy

that I could obtain these rates for us.

Now let's plan to feed you guys lol the food court at the All Star

Movies

Resort really has some reasonable prices and a vast selection of hot

foods and

snacks and everything even healthy food choices lol. I saved my

receipts from

2002 and will try to factor in increases but usually it will break down

this

way:

a child's pancake platter cost $3.59 each

an adult pancake platter cost $4.99 each

trust me these platters are all you need to start off the day but of

course

you and I will partake of other breakfast foods and the prices are

really

reasonable

Now at the food court for lunch or dinner

A chicken strip platter or fried chicken cost 4.89 each and they came

with

fries.

Now to save money you can purchase the Disney insulated cup for about

7.99

each or do what jessy and I did we purchased our mugs at downtown

Disney's rain

forest cafe for 2 for $5.00 and used our mugs to refill our drinks at

the food

court. This really does save a lot of money on drinks and in the mugs

you

can have cold or hot drinks.

Now in the parks be prepared to pay anywhere from $6.00 per person per

meal

or you can do what we do pay a little extra and have a little fridge in

your

room and go to the store and stock up. You can bring your own 2 liter

bottle of

soda into the park in your bag and just get cups of ice in the park to

save

money, and pack your own snacks for the family and just have money for

ice-cream and stuff like that for the kids or if you want to buy

souvenirs.

I really want us to enjoy ourselves so really plan on at least $300.00

TO

$400.00 or less for all meals and a dinner theater trip. I really want

to get a

day in at Universal studios and a park ticket there will run you 51.95

per one

day ticket but this is optional.

I think if you guys aim toward the $2,500 you suggested you will be

doing

fantastic. So let's start saving because I will be signing the contract

soon and

keep checking the files section at the GBS website and the blog that I

created and sent you guys out the links for ok.

WE WILL HAVE A GREAT TIME and I don't know about you guys but bring a

camera

and or a camcorder this will be an adventure of a lifetime :)
