Guest guest
Hi, I'm Jayme. I had open surgery on June 5th (and a repair on June 8th). I just thought I would pop in and let everyone know that I am doing much much better. I am now 80 pounds lighter! I still have two open wounds due to infection and I still have my peg tube (although it's coming out next week). The doctor finally put me on soft solids, so I eat a lot of noodles (ramen noodles), ice pops, eggs, and anything else I think I can handle. Any suggestions??? I had rotel cheese dip the other day. Boy was it yummy! I wanted to eat the entire bowl, but only manged 6 or 7 chips worth of dip, lol. I never thought it would be this hard. I dream of eatting. I am craving subway as I type this. What I wouldn't give to eat a foot long subway melt with everything. Oh man! I better shut up. Sounds like I need to head off to bed before I try and eat something. Hello all you new people. I'll try and start posting more. Goodnight, Jayme 368lbs-80lbs=288lbs

Guest guest
Jayme, All I can say is WOW! 80 lbs in 2 months that's Amazing! I only hope I do as well or close to it! Way to go!! I'm on a soft foods diet too right now at 7 weeks out. I'm allowed soft potatoes (mashed), pasta, stewed chicken, baked fish, tuna, eggs, well cooked veggies, soft fruit, etc. My doctor told me that Subway was okay as long as I had tuna fish and ate only the inside of the bread. I'm not allowed cold veggies yet. It sounds good though! Good luck on the rest of your journey! 432/384/170 Lap RNY 6/20/03 Hi Remember me! Hi, I'm Jayme.
