Is it true that zyrtec (reactine) is an over the counter (no

prescription required) med in Canada? What does it cost? In the US the

best price I've found is almost $2 US per 10 mg tablet. Those with

prescription plans should be thankful.

Not that we are in Canada, but we can get Zyrtec and Claratyne without a

script here in Oz. A box of 30 Claratyne costs ~$34 so about $17 USD.

Probably cheap enough to make you want to import them from over here !

Over the last couple of years quite a few meds have come off script. Ones

off the top of my head: nizoral, rhinocort, beconase, claratyne, zyrtec.

This has meant people don't need to go to the doctor as much. Lets hope

for y'all's sake that the US might consider doing the same.
