Guest guest
I've been reading so much about the individual supplements that people take to help reduce flushing and acne flares. Ester-C, various B vitamins, etc. etc. But does anyone take a regular ol' multi-vitamin, as a kind of " foundation " ? It occurs to me that so many of us are limiting our carbs, eliminating tomatoes or citrus, etc., wouldn't it make sense to take a basic multiple vitamin? My problem is that so many multiple vitamins have made me flare - either given me a blotchy red reaction, or made the acne flare. (In fact, what usually happens is this: I get hives scattered around my face, then after a few hours the hives subside and an acne pimple is left in its wake!) I started to think it was an allergic reaction, so I went so far as to seek out so-called hypo-allergenic multiples. I found something by Nature's Plus called Nutri-Genic, but even that makes me blotchy! So I'd like to know if anyone is taking multi-vitamins, and if so, which ones? Or do you all just stick to the individual vitamins that are recommended for rosacea (as listed in Dr Nase's book, etc.)? Thanks, April
