Nellie:

Do follow your gut- it gives you important information. It may not be time to

jump ship, but I'm sure you

have lots of questions for the therapist in terms of treatment planning so you

can see where he's headed.

You need to feel very comfortable with your child's therapist because that's the

person who is going to be

your knowledgable tour guide leading you through the tumultuous OCD territory.

When there are other

disorders comorbid such as ADHD, I find that sometimes these other issues need

to be addressed for the

first few weeks to iron out some of the daily struggles so that things can be

stable enough to begin the

tough challenges of fighting OCD. Best of luck.

All you do is delete the sender's address in the send to box and type in

dwarfismonelist which that is how you can reply publicly to the posts.

In fact that is what I just did to show you :-)

all that, the term midget is from such an old language that we should update

ourselves and stop living in the days when as a dwarf we didn't receive the

amount of respect as we do today.

Hey Rocky, I might be able to help. I've just recently become engaged to

the man of my dreams and he's averaged size. I'm 4'3 " , so about the same

height as her. I'm proportionate too.

I'm not Pituitary, but close enough. Feel free to e-mail me and maybe

someday if needed, all 4 of us can chat. btw his name is Gerry .

He's like 5'9 " or something like that. Doesn't matter to me at all.

P.S. - I am on digest now, so that's why I sent this to both places. Not

sure where you'll get it first.

Dear Connie:

I guess you'll just have to look at this as a positive. No one has

an accurate and proveable theory on why and why gets bitten. The only

fact that is known is that something in our body chemistry makes us more

or less attractive. What that is, is not known, and, it is possible that

something to do with the liver might be a common characteristic. Just

keep smiling. Marty

Warning: Newbie Question! ;-)

,

What is the Body for Life 20 Minute Solution? Is this a tape or something?

I have the book, and have just started reading it, so forgive me if this is

something obvious that I should know (I haven't gotten very far in the book

yet!)

Thanks,

Tammy

The 20 minute aerobic solution (starting on page 64) is a way to get your

aerobic activity into a compact time span of 20 minutes of mean, heart

pumping, fat burning activity!!! The idea is intensity. High intensity

aerobics can increase fat-burning in a shorter amount of time compared to the

usual low-to-moderate-intensity aerobic activity.

It starts off with a 2 minute warm-up of " Level 5 " intensity. Level 5 is

enough effort to accomplish the job without breaking a sweat...just a

warm-up. Increase that intensity to a 6 for the 3rd minute, intensity 7 for

the 4th minute, intensity 8 for the 5th minute, and intensity 9 (ALMOST all

you've got) for the 6th minute. After one minute of level 9 bring it back

down to a level 6 and start interval training over again from level 6 to 9 to

complete 4 cycles.

At the 18th minute you will be at a level 9 intensity. Upon reaching the

19th minute you are gonna give it all you've got and them some!!! Work your

ass off like you've never worked it before. You should be working so hard

that nothing else exists in your mind but what you are doing at that exact

moment. A level 10 means you absolutely couldn't go any faster, any harder,

not even if Bill himself were right there coaching you on. You hold

that level 10 for one full minute and then go back to a level 5 to cool down

for one minute....or more if you need it (that's my recommendation...cuz I

don't know bout you, but after I hit a 10, I need more cool down time, cuz

I'll fall over if I try to walk away from it too soon!!!)

How's that break down for ya?

Bobbie,

This egroup serves a lot more than research. It is a personal source of encouragement that there are a whole lot of persons besides myself who seem to be struggling for the same reasons! Sorry, cannot put a dollar sign on that one! Keep up the good work.

My opinion.......you're never cured.......if the viral count falls below a

certain number, by lab values, they say you are cleared......there will always

remain the RNA and it can duplicate whenever.......

Taking care of yourself to keep your immune system as strong as possible is

great but not the sole answer......love...judy

Hi Naomi; Sorry I didn't answer you right away! This thread sort of

got lost somewhere but~ yes you could add beeswax to make a pomade. I

use beeswax. We may have a recipe for it here in the Archives and if

not email me privately at my email and I will send you one. I

make a lot of solid perfumes. They are part of a line of natural

fragrances that I have created. They are easy to carry in your purse

and are fun to create! I think Mandy Aftel has a recipe for some in

her book " Essence And Alchemy " . Hope this helps.

Fragrant Blessings! Dee
