Guest guest
, if you don't feel happy with Dr Lyons, try another 'one of the bests'. You will know when you've hit the right one. And the best ones are the best to have for surgery, but their advice and manner can be harsh. Maybe your body is too complex for him, they don't like that when you're not in the textbook. I don't know why they have to take it out on us though. I understand he would suggest a patch because the patch shouldn't affect your organs, but I don't understand why estrogen, normally it's supposed to be progesterone for endometriosis. The CT scan sounds like a good idea. I found Dr Lyons site on the internet too, after lots of researching you can tell who are the experienced ones. As for their personalities, unfortunately the internet can't help with that. Apparently Dr Cook http://www.drcook.com/ is very compassionate and kind. I don't know if he is anywhere near you. I wil keep your nephews, and all teenage boys, in my prayers.

I am writing down questions and I am going to either call or e-mail him. I went to Dr. Lyons because of his credentials and he was within a reasonable driving distance.- 3 hours one way. I'm still researching, maybe I can find someone in SC to treat me. In them meantime I feel like I need to throw one of those overly emotional, crying someone has to help me fits . Right now it wouldn't be hard to do. Just the stress of this, along with everything else going on is enormous. I haven't been able to eat for 2 days now. I take one bite and stop. I just cant' eat. its not the CP, its nerves. I feel like I'm at the end of my rope and its on fire. Today is going to be a better day. Thats what I keep telling myself anyway. Thanks for the input. Unfortunatly Dr. Cook is on the left coast. I will just have to keep looking I guess. -SC > >
